here are the most frequently asked questions/answers about your hotel stay at the Hotel am Domplatz in Linz.
Our check-in time is from 03:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
- If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to store your luggage at the reception in the meantime. As our check-out time is until 11:00 a.m., we cannot guarantee an early check-in.
- If you arrive later, please let us know. We will be happy to leave your cards in our key safe outside the door and send you an individualised access code on request.
The reception is staffed from 06:30 a.m.-10:30p.m. There is no staff at the reception between 10:30 p.m.-06:30 a.m. We ask that you always take your room cards with you, as you can only enter the hotel with them at night.
There is a public underground car park under the building, which is not operated by the hotel. The maximum cost for 24h is € 19,50. The maximum entry height is 2,10m. With your room card you can go directly up to the hotel with the elevator. If you do not have a room card, we kindly ask you to press the reception button at our hotel entrance and we will open the door for you. We are happy to welcome your pet as well. We ask for your understanding that only dogs and cats are allowed and no exotic animals. We take the liberty of charging a fee of € 19.00 per pet and night.
Breakfast is not included in the price. You are welcome to book it for € 24.00 per person up until check-in. If you book a room via our homepage, you can book breakfast for a non-cancellable special rate of € 21.00 per person. If you book spontaneously in the morning, you will receive breakfast for € 26.00. We kindly ask you to pay this amount directly in CASH to our breakfast catering team. If you pay in CASH, no company invoice can be issued.
Our spa area on the 4th floor can be entered directly with your room card. The sauna and steam bath will be switched on for you between 06:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m. on request. We kindly ask you to let us know in time, as it takes about 30 minutes to heat up.
In the Dombar Brasserie, located directly on the ground floor, we spoil you with international and traditional Austrian cuisine, small snacks and an excellent selection of wines. You are also very welcome to choose à la carte from the menu of our neighbour "Pauls Restaurant Steak and Veggie" in the bar.
Our check-out time is until 11:00 am. Subject to availability, we can also offer you a free Late check-out until 01:00 p.m. at the latest. If you would like to check out at 3:00 p.m., we ask for your understanding that a fee of half the daily rate will be charged.
Our hotel offers four barrier-free rooms in the business category. The elevator provides barrier-free access to the entire hotel.

We are happy to provide you with our "10-things-to-do-in-Linz" map. Of course, our staff at the reception are also at your disposal and will show you the suitable excursion destinations for you.
We are an adults-only-hotel. Children are welcome from the age of 16.
Our house is equipped with cooling ceilings and underfloor heating and is centrally controlled. You can still make some regulation at the rotary switch on the room wall. You will not hear any noise, please give the system some time to adjust! The system is allergy friendly!
The maximum occupancy for all rooms, suites and flats is 2 persons. We do not offer shared rooms or rooms with connecting doors.
